Nearly all activity involves a payment and the most popular channels are with cash, card, electronic and mobile.  As consumers seek digital convenience, there is an explosion of innovation making the competitive landscape more vibrant than ever before. 

But there is an expectation that payments will be easy to make and affordable as well as secure and protected from fraud.  These issues are non-competitive and to deliver them requires collaboration. 

P20’s vision is to become the recognized forum for global payments where industry leaders, politicians, regulators and government officials gather to collaborate on creating a more accessible, secure and inclusive payments ecosystem in which commercial competition can thrive in a safer environment for the benefit of all.

How payments will look in 2030 is difficult to predict but P20 is determined to play a critical part in shaping that journey.
