Team of award-winning broadcasters and producers to produce content for P20
When the P20 Conference gets underway this week at the Atlanta History Center, an award-winning media team will be on hand to provide in-depth coverage of the event’s first appearance in Atlanta.
The P20 production team, led by Emmy award-winner and former CBS46 reporter Will Frampton, will capture video and interviews with many of the leading newsmakers in the payments and FinTech industries. The productions will appear regularly on the digital channels of P20 and its partners, starting in late October, running into 2019 in advance of next year’s P20 in London.
“Being a part of the P20 is an incredible honor,” said Frampton. “This organization takes on an array of issues that impact so many of us, as it relates to how we make and receive payments. The P20 has also become a place where some of the leading newsmakers in the FinTech and Payments industries come together, and it represents an incredible chance to tell stories around what’s happening and how it impacts all of us.”
The production team will also feature award-winning journalists Mike Thomas, Cristina Mendonsa, and Janice McDonald.
“I have known Will Frampton for more than 10 years and have had the pleasure of working on a few projects with him,” said Thomas, a veteran of local TV news in Atlanta with 10 regional Emmy awards to his credit. “I am excited to be part of this assembled team and this unique project.”
Mendonsa, a well-known reporter and anchor in Northern California, will present P20 content on-camera alongside Frampton.
“The (P20) is an event with so many stories to tell, and influencers in attendance,” said Mendonsa. “I’m very excited to join Will Frampton and other colleagues on the production team.”
Also a part of the crew are graphics and animation artist Erik Brock, as well as pianist/composer Eric Frampton, who has been commissioned to write an original score for P20 productions.
